My New Company Was Selected for the Envestnet|Yodlee Incubator Program

For the past 18 months I have been quietly working on my new company, which is a new application intended to be the “eharmony” of matching investors or consumers to their ideal financial advisor. It is “new” because up until now I rarely discussed it as I was working on my book, but also was more focused on the investor and consumer side of my research for the application.

My professional focus is now to do anything and everything possible to get consumers to hire a financial advisor. A consumer/investor with no financial advisor is nearly as foolhardy as someone who refuses to ever go to a medical doctor. I have seen firsthand the amazingly positive impact an advisor can have on a consumer/investor and their family. Sadly, I have seen the repercussions of unadvised families as well. I now am focused through my book and new software company to drive the number of unadvised families down dramatically.

The idea of writing a book about finding an advisor and secondly starting a new company to be a match-maker came to mind on the same day. It was my hope back then that the book would come out first, and the application second as the book would help build relationships with consumers. I am very fortunate that this is exactly what transpired.

To add to my good fortune, I am thrilled to announce that my new firm was selected to participate in the 2019 cohort of the Envestnet|Yodlee incubator program! Only 8 firms were selected out of a very large group that applied. Working with the teams at Envestnet|Yodlee will undoubtedly make our new product much better, in a much shorter span of time. I am very grateful to the incubator team.

I look forward to making more exciting announcements about MyPerfectFinancialAdvisor in the days, weeks and months to come!
